How do you measure if your team is inspired and engaged?
Nov 28, 2022Here are some warning signs that your team is lacking motivation:
👉 Sudden changes in days working from home (the pattern has changed)
👉 More unexplained absences
👉 Team members are working shorter days
👉 The team’s output has slowed down
👉 More careless mistakes are happening
👉 You might notice some antisocial behaviour (avoiding team get-togethers for example)
👉 An unwillingness to take responsibility or accept new projects
These signs alone aren’t 100% proof that your team are lacking motivation. All of these options could be explained and have nothing to do with inspiration and engagement levels.
But, it is a sign to investigate further.

Can you just ask a team member how they’re feeling?
If they answer honestly, what do you do with their answer?
How do you get them back on track?
